Matrix Audio has long been dedicated to music streamers, steadfast in its original philosophy of achieving the balance between "Listen & Look". In collaboration with Audio Bastion, a specialist in audio isolation systems for high-end audio, the two brands have jointly announced a custom audio rack perfectly matched to Matrix Audio components. Engineered with a professional isolation structure, the rack effectively shields against various forms of vibration, providing stable support for every audio component and faithfully restoring a pure, transparent sonic character. Together, the two brands redefine a refined lifestyle for audiophiles.
Perfect Fit
To ensure perfect integration between the rack and the device feet, we newly designed stainless-steel positioning cones incorporated into the rack’s sliding bases. These cones precisely fit into the center recess of the device feet, eliminating the need for repeatedly adjusting the position of the sliding bases while preserving the damping performance of the device feet. Thanks to the accurate coupling of the stainless-steel cones and the device feet, devices on the rack will not move when operating the touchscreen or buttons. Beneath each cone, a silicone air-cushion layer is added to form a dual-stage damping structure, further enhancing vibration control performance.
Patented Vibration Absorption
The TEMPO DX RACK adopts Audio Bastion’s proprietary X-shaped patented isolation architecture, inspired by the bolted I-beam structures used in architectural engineering. This design effectively blocks the transmission of structural resonance. The base of the rack features stainless-steel spikes that precisely interface with isolation footers in contact with the tabletop. Inside the footers, a mechanical dispersion structure composed of steel beads and silicone evenly distributes the weight of the equipment across the surface, ensuring a solid and stable foundation for every component placed on the rack.
Optimized Space Usage
We have optimized the angle of the central X-shaped structure in the TEMPO DX RACK, widening the lateral spacing between the side columns to reduce visual obstruction of the device front panels. The overall depth of the rack has also been shortened to minimize desktop footprint, leaving more front clearance for operation. The result is significantly improved space efficiency, a cleaner and more organized setup, and a more comfortable and intuitive user experience.
Felxible Expansion
Designed with a tool-free, modular structure, the TEMPO DX RACK allows users to freely add or remove tiers according to the number of components in their system. When paired with the Matrix Audio N Series, it offers flexible expansion of up to four levels - perfectly accommodating the complete flagship combination of NT-1, ND-1, NA-1 and SC-1.
A Perfect Match Design
The TEMPO DX RACK is available in two sizes: Standard and Large, catering to different system configurations. The Standard version is tailored for the Matrix Audio T Series, including the TT-1, TS-1, and subsequent models. The Large version is purpose-built for the N Series, ensuring seamless compatibility with the NT-1, ND-1, NA-1, SC-1 and future models. Each component finds its precisely matched counterpart, balancing functional performance with aesthetic harmony. In every detail, a unified audiovisual experience is achieved.
