IIS connection is not two-way communication ports, so front end device could not recognize DACs via IIS cable (HDMI cable)
MQA only could be handled through USB connection. 

which is better, it may related to your preferences.

I upgraded the firmware at 2.7 version
what about the 3.1 version? Is disappeared in the download section.

The version number 2.7 is indicating MCU firmware, and the v3.0.3 is version number of XMOS.
You can open the DFU tool (included in the installer package https://www.matrix-digi.com/drivers/Matr...Driver.rar) connect the device to your windows computer, the version number will be displayed. If your XMOS firmware is lower than 3.0.1, you can update it following the instructions (part 2) here.
