In actual implementation on most of the computers, the ability of USB power is higher than 500mA and 900m. A lot of USB devices requires higher than 5V/500mA power, but they actually comsume less power.
For example, a USB CD drive usually declare it requires 5V/1.5A power, but it works flawlessly on a USB 2.0 port without external power supply.
So does the X-SPDIF3, the X-SPIDIF3 will not consume so much power from the USB port actually.
The following device is a CD drive from Lenovo, it works fine on a USB 2.0 port.

So X-SPDIF 3 is confirmed to work perfectly ok with USB 2.0 port ? There is no requirement for USB 3.0 port or USB-PD port ?
Is X-SPDIF 3 still in production ? I see many Matrix sellers showing out of stock for this product
