Feature Request: better response for volume contron on Mini I Pro3
#1
I'm a fresh user of Mini I Pro3, I'm really enjoying it, but I feel volume control could be better. There are two problems:

1. When changed, the first movement is ignored; it's used to get from the default screen to volume control screen and then only the second movement is registered as volume change by 0.5dB.

2. Volume change is too linear and feels sluggish when attempted to quickly turn the volume up or down. For example, when I slowly rotate by 90 degrees, it's 6 clicks and the volume changes by 6x0.5dB, which is ok. But if I rotate quickly, it changes typically by 3 or 4 times 0.5dB, while I would expect to change even more, for example, double, 12x0.5dB.

Yes, volume acceleration support when you turn the dial fast is sorely needed, and I don't think it is difficult to implement. Even Amir from AudioScienceReview complained about the very slow changing volume control.
Hope we can see this feature added very soon  Wink

Yep, Amir and most reviewers complained about the volume control slowness... Confused

I second this: This volume control really does need acceleration. I was not sure if it could be hardware limited or something. Bu when used with Roon Ready, the volume control from Roon software is blazing fast on the other hand. So I would suppose that Mini-i 3 could support some acceleration by firmware update. Smile

The same acceleration should also be supported with the remote, by the way.

Best regards.
