Exhibition Report｜Dutch Audio Event 2025
On October 4th to 5th, with the support of the local distributor Reference Sounds, Matrix Audio showcased multiple demonstration systems at the Dutch Audio Event Hi-Fi show - the largest audio and high-fidelity exhibition in the Benelux region, garnering widespread attention from audiophiles in attendance.
Following the record-breaking success in 2024, this year's Dutch Audio Event Hi-Fi show was even larger and more spectacular. With an exhibition area of 4,869 square meters, over 70 exhibitors and 250 brands were distributed across dozens of listening rooms, bringing together audiophiles, music enthusiasts, and professionals in an electrifying atmosphere.
As a professional audio distributor deeply rooted in the Benelux region, Reference Sounds boasts profound technical expertise. They set up multiple systems across various exhibition rooms to demonstrate for the attending audiophiles.
One of the demo rooms featured a high-end two-channel streaming system composed of the Matrix Audio MS-1 Music Streamer, SC-1 Audio Grade Reference Clock and SS-1 Pro Audio Grade Network Switch, paired with JBL Summit and Audio Research components. The system attracted numerous local audiophiles, who were deeply impressed by the sound performance of this two-channel streaming setup.
In another dedicated listening room, the TS-1 Music Streamer, element X2 Music Streamer, mini-i Pro 4 Music Streamer served as audio sources, paired with several ZMF closed-back headphones to form a series of desktop Hi-Fi headphone systems. Many headphone enthusiasts stopped by to audition and compare these systems carefully. All setups were connected to the main show network through the SS-1 Audio Grade Network Switch, ensuring fast and stable network performance while isolating noise interference between devices.
Meanwhile, MA-1 Audio power Amplifier and MP-1 Audio Pre-Amplifier were showcased in transparent-chassis demo units, alongside a static display featuring the MD-1 Music Streamer Integrated Amplifier and NT-1 Digital Audio Transport. These meticulously assembled systems fully demonstrated Matrix Audio’s engineering capabilities and sonic excellence, drawing a continuous stream of visitors and widespread praise throughout the show.
