HUAWEI HiPlay – One-Step Direct Connection, Enjoy Ultra HD Master-Quality Sound Easily

From June 12 to 14, the highly anticipated HUAWEI Developer Conference 2026 was successfully held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. Invited to attend, Matrix Audio joined over 10,000 developers to witness the latest iteration of HarmonyOS. On June 14, at HUAWEI HiPlay Ecosystem Summit, Matrix Audio was recognized as an Excellent Ecosystem Partner of HUAWEI HiPlay.

Event Highlights

The summit brought together global audio brands, content platforms, developers, and industry experts under the theme "Creating full-scenario audio experiences, building a high-quality, thriving ecosystem." Grounded in the current state of the music industry, the event addressed key technological challenges and explored pathways for ecosystem upgrades, injecting fresh thinking and momentum into high-quality audio development.

Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Sheng Xing, the chief strategy officer of HUAWEI Consumer BG, and Mr. Chen Lixin, executive vice-president and general secretary of the China Audio Industry Association.

Mr. Ding Bo, product director of HUAWEI HiPlay, unveiled HUAWEI HiPlay's spatial audio technology – a breakthrough upgrade for full-scenario audio experiences – establishing a new model that spans technological innovation and ecosystem collaboration.

HUAWEI HiPlay is HUAWEI's next-generation wireless streaming technology, enabling audio media from mobile phones to be cast to music streamers, streaming speakers,and other ecosystem devices. It achieves, for the first time, wireless playback of 192kHz master-quality lossless audio. The system works without requiring a home Wi-Fi network or even an internet connection – users can directly connect and enjoy master-quality music outdoors, with no network needed.

This recognition marks a strengthened partnership between Matrix Audio and HUAWEI, jointly building a high-quality ecosystem for audio excellence. The dev team of Matrix Audio is now fully dedicated to the integration of HUAWEI HiPlay streaming technology. In the near future, Matrix Audio's music streamers will integrate HUAWEI HiPlay streaming services, enabling HarmonyOS users to enjoy an even better listening experience.
