Element X bitrate ? and why is the 'k' grayed out while it should be visible ?
#1
Is it possible to show the bitrate as well in the OLED window ?
Now only the MQA label / PCM / ... and frequency number are shown.

Lately Tidal has been publishing a lot of 16bit !!! MQA's
and it would be nice to see if the songs being played are 16bit or 24bit...

(Now I have to look for the exact bitrate in software)

Please add this in a next firmware.

P.S. is there a reason the 'k' after the frequency is grayed out ?
After all
44100(Hz) = 44.1k(Hz)
48000(Hz) = 48k(Hz)
... etc

the k should be visible whenever you divide numbers by 1000 to show the user you have to multiply them by 1000 (k = kilo) no ?

I second the request to show the bitrate in addition to the sampling frequency in the OLED’s window. Hopefully this is something that could be added via firmware.

I actually meant bit DEPTH not bitrate... so 16 bits or 24 bits...
44.1kHz mqa's are as 16b or 24b,
all mqa-cds are 16b

Yup, same here — I meant bit depth too.

The k is grey, because of the UI design, we want to emphasize the numbers of 44.1.
For audiophiles, they definitely know 44.1 means PCM sampling rate 44.1kHZ, so it's not important if the k is grey or white.
For the bitdepth display, it seems that there's no suitable position to display it. The resolution of the display is not high, we need to minimize the display of secondary information.
