X-SPDIF3 USB MCLK

Hello 

Just wanted to ask about the 2 femtosecond clocks build in the X-SPDIF3
MODE A and MODE B clocks are available. 

What’s is the best clock mode for my setup? 

I have a Matrix Element M and I want to connect the X-SPDIF3 using IIS-LVDS connection.

Hi Juan,
The D/A chip of element M only works at async mode, it don't support sync mode, so, the MCLK mode of X-SPDIF 3 will not affect the sound performance of element M.

Hi Juan,
If you add the X-SPDIF3 between your computer and the element M, you'll get some benefits. As you know, the ground wire of USB port of X-SPDIF3 is isolated from the ground wire of its IIS port. But the element M doesn't have the isolation design, when you connect the element M to your computer directly, noises and interferences could be transfered from the computer to the element M through the USB connection.
