I’ve just preordered X-Spdif 3 at Magna HiFi distributor. When are expected availability of the first units? Just cant wait!

Another question.
External power supply DC voltage for X-Spdif 3 is 12V, but not higher. What about lower voltage?
Will X-Spdif 3 work with 9V? Or is there any “working range” as for X-Spdif 2?
(For X-Spdif 2 there was 6-9V range and I was successfully using 6V external supply for my X-Spdif 2 unit)

Yes, It's optional.
When you only connect it to USB port of a computer, it works through USB bus power supply.
Once you connect a DC power to it, the USB power will be cut off. It works through the external power.

Hi again Wei, I have topping DX7 for now untill i buy X sabre 3... Using any other output than Hdmi on this interface gonna improve sound? What output would you recomend if i cant use hdmi?

Hi Arnas,
I think the X-SPDIF3 is better than the built-in USB interface of DX7, if the samplng rates of music source is not higher than 24-bit / 192kHz, you can use X-SPDIF3 with Dx7, use the toslink or coaxial cable connect the X-SPDIF3 and DX7, but sampling rates higher than 24/192 would not playable through this connection.

My X-Spdif 3 arrived!
Flawless plug and play action. Type A I2s pinout works perfectly with my Holo Spring 3 KTE dac.

Is there any recommended burn in period for X-Spfif 3 to settle down and work best?

Anyway, wery good sounding right away. Just first 30 min. listening...
Nice fit and finish as always. Very tight i2s HDMI socket is nice surprise!
