X-Sabre 3 and Raspberry Pi

Dear all, I would be interested in connecting my raspberry Pi to the X-Sabre 3 to my raspberry. For the moment I am using the USB port using the standard driver available on my Linux distribution. I would like to know if I could use the I2S output from my raspberry (available on the GPIO port) connected directly to the IIS-LVDS interface. Thanks in advance for you help.

The signal from GPIO is totally different from the IIS LVDS we implemented. It's not a easy job for a user.

Thanks a lot for the answer. I would then continue using the USB port (to X-SPDIF 2 and then X-Sabre 3).
