The message "No signal" means no audio signal from the phisical audio input ports or from network streaming. It's not talking about Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
In this case, can you provide the following details and do the following tests?
1. When the issue happens, how long will the text "No signal" lasts on the display?
2. What CD transport (model) are you using?
3. Does the CD transport have a coaxial output? Are you able to test it with coaxial cable connection?
4. Do you have some other optical output device to test with your Matrix device? If the messages will appear when playing in this case?
