Very good, it seems that the quality of the network connection has improved.
What is the firmware version of your Element X? In the device settings menu, turn to ‘Product Info’ to check, the lastest version should be B51501.
regarding NAS folders disappearing from the iPad app, we can not restore this issue, could you provide a screen record video to show this problem, that will very useful.
