Which MCLK mode to use

Hello, I use a PS Audio Directstream (Type B IIS/LVDS config). Which MCLK mode is recommended? Is there a technical reason to choose A or B?

I guess you are asking about X-SPDIF3.
It's no right or wrong, good or bad to the MCLK modes, this depends on which frequencies clock the DAC needs. Simply choose the suitable MCLK mode according to your DAC.

TAS2559 in an end application does not require MCLK. I2S slave mode ought to be selected as the default for TAS2559.
