Element H in NUC/mITX with use of M.2 to PCIe adaptor cable

Would like to have opinion of engineers / people who have tried.

Is it possible/safe to run such adaptor cable on Element H?

The configuration will be as below:
- Element H running external power supply (9V) consistent
- Intended to fit for intel NUC11TNHi3 / NUC11TNHi5
- Original M.2 22*42 B-key slot (which was labelled to be expandable for PCIe x1)
- Intended to flash as Roon Rock / Daphille

Another to be consider is - will Element H draw any current from the M.2 port when its set in external power supply mode?

I am not sure whether the original description means it will cut off the 5V USB output, or the 9-12V input is actually directly supply current to Element H.

Sorry, we only ensure the element H work with native PCIe port.
