How to stop adding NAS to library?
#1
Hi I wanted to add a folder from my NAS to the library,
but when I connected using the MA remote I selected the root folder of the NAS.
I thought I would be able to select a folder first, but apparently the MA Remote immediately started adding ALL of my NAS folders.

My NAS is a 50 TB one ... this will take how long? Weeks? Months?
My hard drives are having a very hard time now and already for two days now.
I wanted to stop the process but even restarting my NAS didn't seem to do anything, it keeps reading all my drives.

Question :
1. How long will it take for a 50TB NAS to be processed ?
and if it takes way too long...
2. How can I abort this process?
(What is the name of the process you are running? I'd rather kill the process if it takes too long)

Thank you.

Hi Wim,
Simply disconnect the power supply of your element X.
After you rebooted the element X, you can find that there is no green dot beside the NAS path. It means that the path is disabled. Now you can remove the NAS path and add other paths.
Let me know if you have any problems.

Best regards.

If you have added all your music folders from your NAS to the element X. Please let me know how many tracks added to it.
You can find the summarized number of tracks in Device Info page in the app.
MA Remote -- My Devices -- (image of element X) Configure -- Device information

I am wondering how many tracks in your 50 TB NAS and how many of them could be added to Library of element X.. lol
