Click noise occurs when using an I2S connection with X-SPDIF 2 + X-Sabre Pro.
#1
I will post the details in a new thread.

Click noise occurs when switching the sampling rate when using with PC → USB → X-SPDIF 2 → I2S → X-Sabre Pro, MCLK ON and 128fs synchronous mode.
It does not occur at 44.1 and 48kHz. Click noise occurs when switching from 44.1 and 48kHz to 96kHz or more, or switching from 96kHz or more to 44.1 and 48kHz.
It does not occur in asynchronous mode.

The sound is overwhelmingly good in sync mode, so it would be very appreciated if improved.

I forgot to write it, but I am using XLR from X-Sabre Pro to connect to a headphone amplifier and listening with headphones.
So the click noise sounds loud and I am worried about the headphones and ears.

Hi,
I'll ask you again, can you just tell me if there are any plans to fix it?
Sound quality is the highest priority, so if you make a correction and it can cause sound quality degradation, you don't need to fix it.

Thank you.

Hello.
I have exactly the same issue with exactly the same environment as @leaves.
Static pop sound at the beginning of track when switching to another sampling rate. Only in sync mode. The same with X-Spdif 2 and X-Spdif 3. The same on all X-Sabre pro filters. The same with different I2S hdmi cables.
Any workaround @Wei Cao?

My chain: USB to Matrix X-Spdif 3, I2S to X-Sabre Pro (non MQA version).
X-Sabre pro settings: sync mode ON, jitter reducer OFF, Dither: ON
X-Spdif 2 / X-Spdof 3 settings:
DoP to Native OFF, IIS reverse OFF, MCLK ON (mode B).

By the way, the sound is great.

Hi both,
Yes, at sync mode, the poping noises happens when the sampling rate changes.

Hi, is there a fix for this problem? I have the same problem with my XSP MQA.

Hi Wei Cao, yes this issue happens when the X-SABRE Pro MQA is at Sync mode. No problem when in Async mode, however that diminishes the benefit of the X-SPDIF 2.
