If it works with other routers, it may be considered as a compatibility issue, I'm afraid the only solution is to replace the router.

I just tested with my ISP router (Orange Livebox 4) which I don't use anymore because I replaced it by the netgear.
As I expect, I have exactly the same behavior.
Ethernet connection reboots in a loop after a few seconds (white icon, then red iconn then white icon, etc..).
Can you analyze the logs or something ? I don't feel it's a 1500€ product.
