How to add SMB (Samba) sharing folders to the element devices through MA Remote? - Wei Cao - 02-23-2023


  1. Ensure that your NAS, Matrix Audio device, and the mobile device with the MA Remote App installed are all connected to the same local network.
  2. Open the MA Remote App and navigate to Files tab under Local music. Tap on "Add network drive".
  3. The app will automatically scan and display all available network drives on the network. Tap on the network drive you want to add to the library. Enter the username and password to log in to the network drive. If the network drive doesn't require passwords, simply leave the password empty.

  4. Once the network drive is successfully logged in, the app will display the folders in the drive. Tap on the "Add" button to add the folder to your music library.

Help solve the problem, when adding a network drive (NAS) to the local media library, the application returns an error (. screenshots) and does not add a disk, while errors in the credentials are present and music is played from the NAS using the UPnP protocol.

Hi, after updating the application, everything worked fine, but now there is a problem with authorization in the Tidal service application - after entering the credentials, a tick symbol appears that everything is ok and the process stops on this screen, after returning to the previous menu, the application still indicates that I am not logged in

Hi Maksim,
Does this problem still exist? You can delete all login information and log in again to solve it.
