X-Sabre and DSD - Dying - 05-15-2022
The core of the problem:
I have set the desired settings:

When outputting sound one hiss..
Maybe I need to update the firmware?
The previous owner seems to have updated it...
Tried different settings to no avail.

According to your screenshots, you are using the first gen of X-SABRE?
There is no new firmware for this model. So, it should be the latest firmware.
I can't read Russian, I guess you want to playback DSD files on the X-SABRE through JRiver.
Please enter the tab "Volume" and check the "Output", if the output volume is set to maximium. You should keep it maximium output, or the DSD will sound hiss...

By the way, the X-SABRE (1st generation) does not support ASIO Native, please do not set the output method to ASIO Native in the player softwares.
DoP is no problem.
