Element X2 analog in - F - 04-28-2022 Hi, I have three questions about Element X2.  Do you need a separate phono preamplifier for using a turntable with Element X2?  Does the analog signal get converted to digital?  Is there a digital out? If your turntable has no built-in phono preamplifier, you need a separate one. 2. Yes it converts to digital and then convert to analog. 3. No digital outputs. RE: Element X2 analog in - F - 04-29-2022 Thank you for your answers. I think there’s an underserved market segment of “digital preamp” or “digital source”. A device with streaming, digital ins, analog ins (with adc) and a usb out. With top notch Matrix build quality and usability.
