X Sabre 3 I2S compatibility - Anirban - 04-05-2022
Hi
I am trying to see if X Sabre 3 I2S input is compatible with my NuPrime CDT 10 transport. Looking at the pin outs of both products, I see that pins 14,15 and 16 are different. Does that mean they are incompatible? If I use DSD conversion mode on CDT10, it seems to work fine. But changing between A,B,C ,D modes does nothing. PCM does not work and produces a harsh noise.

Hi Anirban,
There is no standards for IIS interface in audio industry. So we cannot ensure all the devices from other manufacturers are compatible with our products.
If you have tried all the different definitions and it still not work, it means they are incompatible.
