Hi. New X-Sabre 3 Owner, but I have a problem.
I am using this without a pre-amp to an active system. I have set the volume limits in roon, but on startup the X-Sabre 3 ignores this (in the red zone where it shouldn't be) and starts at 0 dB volume. this is super bad and dangerous.
How can I define a proper startup volume, or get the x-sabre to respect Roon's startup volume?
Part 2: Can we get a more hardware limit that will work with other apps such as Spotify connect, tidal etc without roon? Exasound does this for example in their drivers, would be cool to have it in the firmware.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for your feedback. We are aware of the bug you reported. The new firmware will be released soon which can fix it.
For the second question. The X-SABRE 3 support Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect. You can open Spotify app or TIDAL app on your phone, play a song, in the playing page, tap on the speaker icon, you will find you X-SABRE 3 in the device list.
