Cable to Connect SPDIF X HDMI output to DAC input - Alexander_1474 - 09-13-2021
I have a Matrix Audio SPDIF with an ii2 "input" that I think needs to go into a NUC female SPDIF "output". The cable that was recommended was https://www.moon-audio.com/furutech-hdmi-xv1-3-cable.html does not appear to be right, but again, I am no expert. Can you help me with buying the right cables for the connection? The rest of the setup is an RME ADI 2 DAC FS's male optical input with a male Toslink from the Matrix SPDIF's output. System runs on NUC Windows 10.

Hi Alex,
The Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 only has a USB input, and the coaxial, optical and IIS are output ports.
Can you clarify how do you want to connect the devices?
According to your devices, I guess it should be Intel NUC --USB--> X-SPDIF 2 --Optical-->RME ADI 2 DAC. Correct?
Is it necessary to use a IIS cable?
